UP to host 500 athletes in government departments: Yogi Adityanath

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the five-day 71st All India Police Athletics Group Championship held at the PAC Ground on Tuesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that more than 500 athletes from Uttar Pradesh who took part in the national and international championships will soon be transferred to the state police and other administrative divisions of UP.
The CM added that the state government has taken the initiative so that athletes can inspire youth to participate in constructive and positive activities while maintaining physical and mental health.
Mister. Adityanath also added that about 2,000-2,500 athletes participate in sporting events in each constituency of the state. Sansad Khel Mahotsava.
“The government is also building sports grounds in villages and stadiums in neighborhoods and districts along with sports colleges. Sports Uniform Program Yuva Mangal Dal And Mahila Mangal Dal also goes to combat formations, ”KM said.
Uttar Pradesh has 80 Lok Sabha constituencies.
UP CM thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for giving Uttar Pradesh the opportunity to host the event.
