SBI Extends Special FD Amrit Kalash Scheme by 400 Days

“A specific 400-day term scheme (Amrit Kalash) with an interest rate of 7.10% from April 12, 2023. The elderly are entitled to an interest rate of 7.60%. The scheme will be valid until June 30-2023,” the SBI website.

The SBI Amrit Kalash FD scheme has a special term of 400 days during which the general public will receive an interest rate of 7.10% and seniors will receive an interest rate of 7.60%, which is 50 basis points higher than the applicable standard rate and the elderly. , employees and staff retirees are entitled to additional interest rates applicable to them.

Domestic retail term deposits, including NRI Rupee term deposits of less than ₹2 crores, new and extended deposits, term deposit and special term deposit are eligible deposits for SBI Amrit Kalash FD scheme only.

The Amrit Kalash FD SBI scheme is available through branch/INB/YONO channels, and the special FD SBI scheme also includes early withdrawals and credit against deposit.

The SBI advises that interest payments will be made monthly/quarterly/half-yearly for term deposits and at maturity for special term deposits.
